Our Funding Priorities
How does the ABC Education Foundation determine which programs to fund?
In the fall of every year, ABCUSD teachers and administrators can apply for a mini grant to help fund projects throughout the year. The Grant Review Committee, made up of Foundation board members and dignified community volunteers participates in a blind review and scoring process for every application. The application requires a detailed proposal for how the funds will be used and what benefit the programs or purchases will provide the students or staff. The committee uses the ABCUSD Student Achievement Matrix as a guide for ensuring that grants fall within funding parameters. The committee's goal is to effectively distribute funds to as many applicants as possible.
